I broke up with my hairdresser. It was very tough to do but it had to be done - I just needed a change and because my office moved several years ago, the salon is not so convenient for me anymore. I really wanted to find someone close to my office, but the problem is that my office is located in a very expensive section of the city and salons charge outrageous prices. But today I managed to find a place that was only modestly outrageous and decided to give it a try.
Oh my God. I love my hair - the cut is fabulous and is that type of haircut you dream of having. And the color is perfect - my natural color is brown/blonde/gray, but he did a kind of auburn shade and I love it! I walked out of the salon feeling really good about myself and I noticed I walked with my hair bouncing and my head held high.
And, even better, I don't have to stink up my fabulous smelling hair with that nasty cigarette smoke.
Today starts week 19 for me................ Kate

Yay for you. I love those kinds of changes. We all need to do it every now and then. I love where I go now too. Your right your hair will stay smelling super the rest of the day (and forever actually). Your almost to the 20's weeks, does that make any sense? lol Your doing so great. But then you know that too. Have a great day. Roxanne

Very important relationship, the one with your hairdresser. "Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon." Don't know who said it first but I like it.

There's nothing like a new hairstyle to make you feel like you are on cloud nine especially when you are really happy with the result. Now that you have quit you will be able to afford more of those modestly outrageous prices.

A new cut and style can make you feel so much better! I also love smelling the shampoo for the rest of the day. I'm glad that you're treating yourself because you deserve it!
I've missed you since I've been gone. Just been so busy with work and work related problems, but they'll get better.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Luv ya Kate! (((Hugs)))
