Now I have started to write the first book. The first project is a book about how I have "survived" my son Rasmus. I have always said "survived" but I have come to the conclusion that "Survived" in this matter is a word of negativity. Of course it could be positive too. But I have lived my life always thinking about it is a fight, or a battle when I face difficult things. But we all do the best we can. I can say that I have changed to the better through the death of my son. It took years, but I have changed to the better of all times after he died.

I am up to 16½ pages 1½ ppt between the rows, Times New Roman size 12. I have only started... It's in Swedish though.

Update the 31st of July: I will have to sort out how to get the money to publish my book in case I don't send it in to the publishers and get it published through them. It's not many writers that get published by the publishers. But I believe it will be a problem that I can find a solution to in time.

I waited many years before I started to write the book. I've always written poems in memory of Rasmus but the cause of waiting with the book is that I really wanted to be in a good place myself before I started writing. I want to give those that suffers from loosing a child hope of a better future. One can't help others before one has helped oneself. So I had to help myself through it all before I started to write this book.
Hugs, Love and Blessings to all of you! / Junia

Writing is a great way to release any leftover pain...however, it sounds like you are already looking at life like in a very positive manner.

The death of your son must have been so hard to deal with, one of the hardest things that anyone can live through.  Your writing about it may help someone else going through the same journey.

I'm sure you never get over the death of a child but time does have a way of making that loss easier to bear.

Its a pity I can't read the Swedish language, would love to be able to read you book when it is finished.
